lyrics
I’d made my way towards some place to hide, somewhere amongst the sky of some wretched night whoa, oh.
To be so high, then come crashing low.
I’ve asked what is normal and what is right, to want to live as someone that I’ve tried so hard to fight whoa. oh.
These thoughts I’d had and tried to bury, oh.
This is the rest of my light shining through.
Just the rest of my light shining through.
There’s a knock at the door that you never hear, identified by all the parts that were never clear, whoa, oh.
But I tell you what, that was long ago.
And in the background I was just a dull sound, a cover up for all the things they’d just see as queer, whoa, oh.
I’ll tell you what, I’ve let it go.
This is the rest of my light shining through.
Just the rest of my light shining through.
While the rain falls hard, getting sick of trying to forget.
Getting sick of thinking how I’d look in that, and if I’d walk would you believe me if I could?
And when it all build up in a little while, you feel what’s right, like desire come to life.

Convention & Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees. Read it. Make up your own mind. I have, and I think that the sentiments expressed in Punchable Face, pretty much mirror my own when it comes to refugees / asylum seekers, and how Abbott is a bad, bad man who has caused so much hurt and suffering. People should have the right to seek asylum, no matter their modes of transport. "Real Australians Say Welcome." James

This fucking band is an instant classic. Every song is amazing, each of their albums have a ton of hits that should be chart toppers. Sounds like Sublime and the Flatliners. Curtis Unger
